you need to edit the file DiagnoticTool.ini to enable reprogramming and also IMMO. Or if you have money to waste buy the reprogramming card and the NATS card. Add the following line to the DiagnosticTool.ini file

This scanner does exactly what I expect it to do. I can get the fault code myself, search for them on the internet and find an explanation of the code to determine if I can fix it myself or fix it by a professional.
I use it to read and erase the fault code, works well. This is a good diagnostic tool that save me a lot of time and money, to check for vehicle failures and pay for repairs.

Tried and tested I swapped a dash over real easy. I think is a great bit of kit for mileage correction key coding, injector coding, cluster change, radio decoding infact great for most anything on just about any make.

IMMO 4 and 5 key programming working:

I’ve tested on 2012 Scirocco 2.0 TSi and 2014 Audi A5 2.0T.

Overall it is good value for money. Not as good as OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus pad for keys and odometer but has many better functions like programming and calibrations.

Possible to get Piwis 3 program work with Piwis interface tester 2?

It may be an interesting subject, I’m sure there is some information about this out here.
The Piwis 2 interface is a lot more robust piece of equipment, compared to the cheesy and flimsy looking and feeling interface produced by Actia for Piwis 3.
Originally designed for the VW ODIS system,  the VAS 6154 VCI is quite the service needy piece. [Breaks easily] not a hard comparison to make.
Porsche went cheap on this VCI for VXDIAG VCX DoIP Porsche Tester Piwis III. [my humble opinion, way below Porsche standard!]

There is a service from Poland and Ukraine [If I remember correctly] that can make the Samtec based Piwis 2 VCI,  to work with Piwis 3, unfortunately their charges are just as much and frankly cost prohibitive as the New Piwis 3 VCI.  2-3-4 thousand  dollars for these VCIs is simply not reasonable for small  operators. They will come down in price just like the Chinese VCIs did for all manufacturers as the markets get saturated and folks are not buying them as eagerly as in the beginning of the Piwis 3 phad.
They will get as much money as the market bares. [as much as people are willing to pay]

Your more pointed answers will not come in this tread Ibi.

GM reflashing instruction using Mangoose Pro GM 2:

GM products are one of the easiest to reflash. You do not need a factory hardware to use the factory software to reflash any module on the vehicle. You can take a Drew Tech Mongoose II (original) or a Mongosoe Pro GM II (china clone of high quality) in the shop, because it doubles as the factory interface for vehicles that use the Tech 2, as well.

After paying for the subscription ($55 for three days) and choosing SPS (Service Programming System), simply choose the Mangoose cable and start reflashing.

Step 6: Right before you begin the reflash, SPS tells you what the Calibration IDs will actually correct. This is a good way to verify that you will actually be addressing the issue at hand.

Step 7: Always follow any instructions before a reflash! For older GMs, you might have to pull fuses to modules (commonly the ABS and BCM) in order to avoid reflash failures.

That’s all about GM reflash process. If the process freezes up or fails, don’t panic. GM modules generally can be reflashed until you get them right. Believe it or not, a fast computer might do a bad job reflashing an old GM. Just keep trying to reflash the vehicle, and if you have to open a bunch of other programs in the background to slow down the computer.
